I RAN a full backup on 12/28 to start it. So I’m not 100% confident it WILL be restorable and bootable because of the missing partitions. But it DOESN’T back up all the unnamed partitions, only 1. The intent is for this to give me a system that can be restored and booted.Īs near as I can tell, what I SHOULD get is a FULL backup of the C partition and ALL the unnamed partitions on whatever Todo Backup thinks is the “first day of the week”, along with INCREMENTAL backups the other six days. It’s configured as Weekly, every day of the week selected, timed for 3: 30 a.m., backup method “Incremental”, Appoint first backup as “Full”, wake the computer. There’s a “System Backup” of the “Microsoft Windows 10 *:\C:\” variety that’s SUPPOSED to be doing a backup every day at 3:30 a.m.

Unfortunately, it doesn’t do incrementals in the free version.įor the last week I’ve also had Todo Backup doing a “System” backup. it’ll make another full backup of the specified data. I have every confidence that tomorrow morning at 2 a.m. It made a full backup last Monday and a differential every day. I created a partial data backup of 5 or 6 partitions last week and that appears to work also. Macrium is more obtuse than Todo Backup in terms of setting things up, but once its there, it just runs…Įvery Monday morning it makes a full image of the four Windows 10 partitions, and every other day of the week it makes a differential.
